Clients are presented with an opportunity to give feedback through an anonymous questionnaire. Once again FIT for Active Living exceeded the performance target for overall satisfaction of 80% this fiscal year.

Clients indicate their health status on a 5 point scale ranging from very good (1) to very poor (5). Clients are given this measure at the start and conclusion of treatment.Although a decrease over the previous year is noted, FIT once again met the performance target for this fiscal year.

Clients are contacted approximately 6 months following discharge from the FIT for Active Living program. The current data includes information from a representative sample of clients (33%) regarding maintenance of their work status or activity level since discharge.

Successful outcome is defined as a client who Returned or Remained at Work, is Capable of Former Occupation/Activities, or is Fit for Work. A small improvement over last year’s outcome is noted as well as a successful meeting of the program target.

Client Satisfaction

The following information covers all FIT clients discharged between Jan. 1st 2008 and March 31st 2009. A total of 65 clients were discharged during this period, 26 questionnaires were received, for an overall response rate of 40%.

The satisfaction questionnaire consisted of 13 statements asking clients to indicate their level of agreement on a 5-point Likert Scale. Response options included Strongly Agree, Agree, Undecided, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree. Since all of the questions were positively phrased, the degree of agreement assumes degree of satisfaction. Agree responses represent satisfied with services, and Strongly Agree responses, very satisfied with services. Clients were given the opportunity to fill out the survey on site and were assured of confidentiality and anonymity.

Clients were considered satisfied if they responded agree or strongly agree to statement thirteen; Overall, I was satisfied with the FIT for Active Living Program.

Twenty-four of the 26 clients were satisfied with the services they received for a satisfaction rate of 92% (Program target > 80%)
